Stroud House Renovations Begin

The "Stroud House" is painted green to match the Route 66 Boathouse.
Future plans for phase one improvements include a new roof, bay door, interior paint, and floor improvements.

The "Stroud House" will serve as the storage facility for Riversport rowing programs at the Lake Overholser area. The "Stroud House" is named in honor of Bob Stroud, the man responsible for introducing rowing to Oklahoma City in the late 70s. The Stroud House was built to house the Oklahoma City Rowing Club. Located across the North Canadian River from the Route 66 Boathouse, the Stroud House will be renovated over the never several months and will help continue the development of the Lake Overholser area as a beautiful water sports destination. The Riversport programs and facilities at Lake Overholser provide a natural complement to the world class facilities in downtown Oklahoma City.
